Jennifer Mujawar is a professional with over 17 years of experience across international higher education, education management, business consulting, and organizational development. Her career has been anything but linear, yet every step has been purposeful—shaped by a deep commitment to creating systems, opportunities, and pathways that empower people and organizations.
With a strong academic foundation and a diverse professional journey, she brings together strategic insight and hands-on expertise to design impactful solutions. She specializes in building systems, strategies, and partnerships that enable sustainable growth and long-term excellence, blending analytical rigor with creativity and adaptability.
Jennifer’s academic journey began at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), where she graduated as a Silver Medalist in B.A. Social Work with a specialization in Rural Development. She went on to pursue an M.A. in Women’s Studies and qualified for the UGC-NET, later enrolling for a Ph.D. in the same field before stepping away to explore new directions. She further strengthened her expertise through the Executive Program in Women’s Leadership at IIM Calcutta, along with certifications in leadership, counselling, digital marketing, performance marketing, analytics, and social media management.
Her professional path spans a wide range of contexts. She began her career in the development sector, working closely with rural women leaders and contributing to research and training on gender equity. This foundation in social work instilled in her empathy, inclusivity, resilience, and the belief in collective leadership.
Later, at TISS, she designed and managed international admissions, mobility programs, global partnerships, and customized academic exchanges, working with prestigious universities and renowned professors to create long-lasting collaborations and robust models of international mobility. At Terna Engineering College, she expanded this experience by building the International Relations Office and leading international admissions, alumni relations, and program outreach.
Jennifer then moved into leadership roles in the study abroad sector, first as Branch Head at YES Germany for Maharashtra and the Middle East, and later as Head of Operations & Business Development at AM Study Abroad. In both roles, she was responsible for building teams, streamlining operations, and driving growth while keeping the student experience at the center.
She has represented India and her institutions at international platforms in Sri Lanka, Sweden, and Mongolia, through education fairs, Erasmus collaborations, and global workshops. Over the years, she has also been recognized with fellowships and awards that she values deeply—not only for the honor but for the validation of her structured, solution-oriented approach balanced with empathy and inclusivity.
In the last three years, Jennifer has stepped into entrepreneurship with multiple ventures:
- Ednavex Business Consulting (EBC): Providing small and mid-sized businesses with structured systems, brand-building strategies, social media marketing, and data-driven solutions.
- Ednavex (Internationalization of Higher Education): Helping Indian universities build global visibility and partnerships, enable student and faculty mobility, and align themselves with international benchmarks.
What defines Jennifer as a leader is her ability to build systems that outlast individuals while investing deeply in people. She combines structure and analytical thinking with adaptability and creativity, underpinned by resilience. Navigating policy shifts, global crises such as the pandemic, and organizational transitions has taught her to remain grounded in her values while being flexible in her methods and open to continuous learning.
At the heart of her work lies a clear purpose: to design pathways that empower others—whether it is a student aspiring to study abroad, a university seeking to expand its global presence, or a business looking to scale sustainably. Her roots in social work and women’s leadership continue to guide her, reminding her that true impact lies not in personal success alone, but in enabling collective growth.

- Received 'Practicing Feminist Values of Collectivity' an award for "Women's Leadership and Organization in the MA Women's Studies Program (2009 - 2011)" by the Advanced Centre for Women's Studies, TISS.
- Presented a paper on "Sexuality and the Modern Indian Woman" in the International Conference organized by Women's Studies - TISS under the DELPHE project in 2010 and was awarded for writing a commendable paper.

- Represented TISS at the 'India Education Fair 2018' scheduled at Colombo, Sri Lanka on 14 & 15 Feb 2018 organized by SAPE in collaboration with High Commission of India, Colombo; India-Sri Lanka Foundation and Ministry of Higher Education & Research-Government of SriLanka.
- Represented TISS, and participated in the 'Joint Workshop on Mobility, Employability, Internationalization of Indian Higher Education System' organized by the European Union as part of the completion of Erasmus-Mundus Mobility Project from 04 – 07 July 2017 at BITS Pilani Goa Campus, India. This was attended by EMINTE, EUPHRATES, and NAMASTE (29 Indian and 23 European HEIs) to discuss matters related to student/ researcher/ staff exchange, scientific cooperation, internationalization, and European Union funding.
- Recipient of the prestigious “Erasmus Mundus India To Europe (EMINTE)” Scholarship for Administrative Staff Exchange to visit 'Lund University, Sweden' from 15 Jul – 15 Sep 2014.

- Recipient of a prestigious fellowship from 'India Development Service', Chicago, USA under their Rural Development Fellowship Program for a period of 1.5 years (from July 2007 to Dec 2008) to work on the issue of women and Local Self Governance. Under this fellowship, Jennifer in collaboration with RSCD, Mumbai had conducted a study on 'Towards Gender Justice and Equality through Strengthening the Role of Women Representatives in Panchayati Raj Institutions of Maharashtra'.
